First Snow

I love the first snow of the year. Maybe it's the suddenness of change.

This time of year I am reminded of a book I read. Hardly remember anything about it except a passage about watching a lake freeze for the first time. Something about it sticks with me.

I love the fall and I love the winter but I hope that it isnt as wet as last year.

That was a bit much.

The new job is very good so far. Lots of writing and research and so far I am happy. The folks are nice, if not a bit quiet. That's no worries though because I am loud mouth and tend to force people in that direction.

The Jerk is on as I type, "I'm in print! Things are going to start happening to me now" "'Johnson, Navin R.' sounds like a typical bastard." Some days are like that i suppose...

Happy sunday to you folks.
