Here is a story about a dog that jumped up and down on its owners chest because the dog saw that the woman was beating her chest trying to dislodge a piece of apple. So the dog kinda performed the hindlick...i mean Heimlich on her.
A cat would wait for you to die and then eat your face.

That's depressing. I thought my cat was gently biting my cheek in the morning so I would wake up and pet him. I guess he's just checking to see if I'm still alive, or if he can go ahead and eat my face.
Once, I was sitting on the couch with my totally awesome cat Moomaw (RIP) and i was sad about something. Probably because of a boy because, lets face it, boys can be jerks right ladies? Yeehaw! Anyway, I was sitting there and was sniffing away and the cat put her little fuzzy paw on my hand. At the time I thought it was so sweet...the gato just letting me know that while she didnt really understand she could feel my distress. In retrospect she was most likely checking for a pulse...
